Rocket Man | Nicolet Live!

Nicolet Players present the first show in their 2011-2012 season, Rocket Man, a 1998 offering from playwright Steven Dietz. The show runs for two weekends:

  • November 4, 2011 Friday – 7:30pm
  • November 5, 2011 Saturday – 7:30pm
  • November 6, 2011 Sunday – 2:00pm
    and
  • November 10, 2011 Thursday – 7:30pm
  • November 11, 2011 Friday – 7:30pm
  • November 12, 2011 Saturday – 7:30pm
  • November 13, 2011 Sunday – 2:00pm

Nicolet Players | 2011-2012 Season

The Nicolet Players know what The Theater Community likes. Well-written, smart dramedy. Comedrama? Funny shows with serious undertones.

There are just two shows to their season, and they’re both "must see" productions. Add to that their $8 ticket prices and this is a drama program we all need to get more familiar with. Their first show, Rocket Man, was written by Steven Dietz, a monster in regional theater productions and a favorite of The Theater Community. The Nicolet Players will be performing The Trip To Bountiful, from legendary playwright Horton Foote, at the Nicolet College Theatre on May 6-8 and 12-15, 2011. Sunday shows are at 2:00pm, all others at 7:30pm. See the Shows page for a full list of dates and times. Tickets are $8 or $6 for students and seniors and are available online at the Nicolet College Box Office.

The Trip To Bountiful is one of those shows where the story behind the show is almost as good as the show.
